About the Event
Join Mountain Youth, Eagle Valley Behavioral Health and the CU Depression Center for this VIRTUAL family educational session to better understand the signs and symptoms associated with anxiety, whether your own or your child’s. Via a Zoom meeting link, participants will receive tools to understand the basics of anxiety and stress response while learning helpful skills to support someone with anxiety.
This event is offered in English only. We will be adapting the content to offer a culturally relevant virtual event in Spanish in the next couple of weeks. Please stay tuned!
Presenter: Alex Yannacone is the community programs manager at the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center. She has an extensive background in implementation and trainings for prevention and intervention of mental health services and education. She presented last October during the Eat Chat Parent series for the popular Self-Care workshop. We are excited to welcome Alex back to our family behavioral educational efforts.
