Join local bilingual youth mental health experts for a free discussion on the signs of depression, anxiety and stress. Sharing strategies and tools, the goal of this talk is to break down barriers to accessing mental health care and ensure all youth have trusted allies to support them through life’s challenges. This is a free event with dinner and childcare provided! This event will be presented in Spanish and English.
Presenter Information:
Juan Carlos Hernandez Barraza: Juan Carlos Hernandez Barraza is a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Addiction Counselor Candidate. Juan Carlos grew up in Eagle County and graduated from Vail Mountain School. He focusses on trauma, anxiety, depression, use disorders, identity development, and working with diverse and underserved communities. He utilizes narrative, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, and existential approaches.
