Community Interpreter Training

In alignment with Mountain Youth's values of being inclusive and bridging community, we are thrilled to be working with the Community Language Cooperative to host a training and certification course for interpreters. This is intended for individuals that have competency in English and Spanish spoken language and want to further their interpretation skills and/or become more marketable with a certification. • January 13-14 and 20-21 from 9-4:30 each day… attendees must attend the full series in order to complete the certification. • Capacity is limited to 32 attendees and tickets to the training @ $300 per person (+ processing fees of $18.99) • Snacks and lunch provided for each day • This is for people who declare themselves “bilingual” • Individuals ages 17+ are invited • Certificate awarded at the end as a “Community Interpreter” • 40 hours (32 in training sessions +8 as homework) • For more info contact Sandy Schroeder at sschroeder@mountainyouth.org REGISTER HERE: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSfKm2j1mTX1d1.../viewform En alineación con los valores de Mountain Youth de ser inclusivo y de unir a la comunidad, estamos encantados de trabajar con la Cooperativa Comunitaria de Idiomas para organizar un curso de capacitación y certificación para intérpretes.
